ABOUT ABOUT

EDUCATE PHILLY is the Philadelphia Education Fund’s signature fundraising event. Each successful Educate Philly enables us to provide critical programming support to students, teachers, and schools.

Become a sponsor!  Purchase a ticket!  Donate!  No matter how you give, know that your support of Educate Philly makes a difference to both those we serve and in our ability to serve them.

And, it’s fun! And, VIRTUAL!

You won’t want to miss our Master Class in Comms 101: The Media and Education. Our distinguished panel of media and political experts will give us the inside story on media coverage of the COVID pandemic, the Presidential election, and more.  And, our student highlights will remind us that as we struggle with the present, there are bright young futures that still need our support and attention.

  • James Kenney, Mayor, City of Philadelphia
  • William Hite, Superintendent, School District of Philadelphia

More than 4,000 Philadelphia high school students turn to the Philadelphia Education Fund for support in their pursuit to be the first in their families to get to and through college. Founded in 1984, PEF is the longest-operating and most comprehensive provider of college and career advising services in the region. Our expert college advising team counsels students, consults with schools, offers STEM programming across 16 Philadelphia high schools, and awards more than $500,000 per year in Last Dollar scholarships through the Philadelphia Scholars.
